Third-party licences
The same notice as a plain file: THIRD-PARTY-LICENSES.md
On this page
This site redistributes third-party font, icon and script files in its build output.
Those licences ask for their notice to travel with the files, so it lives here and is
served at /THIRD-PARTY-LICENSES.md alongside them.
Added 7 September 2026. The scripts section was added on 4 October 2026: until then this notice said React was not sent to a visitor’s browser, which was wrong. Nothing here is a restriction on using SiteNotePro; it is our side of the bargain for the open assets the site is built from.
Fonts
All three families are imported in src/styles/global.css and compiled into
dist/_astro/ as woff2, so the build redistributes the binaries.
| Family | Used for | Licence |
|---|---|---|
| Inter | Body text and labels (--font-body) |
SIL Open Font License 1.1 |
| Inter Tight | Headings (--font-heading) |
SIL Open Font License 1.1 |
| Poppins | The wordmark in the logo and on the social cards | SIL Open Font License 1.1 |
Copyright notices, as published with each family:
- Inter: Copyright (c) 2016 The Inter Project Authors
- Inter Tight: Copyright 2022 The Inter Project Authors
- Poppins: Copyright (c) 2020 The Poppins Project Authors
The full SIL Open Font License 1.1 text ships with each package under
node_modules/@fontsource/<family>/LICENSE and is published at
https://openfontlicense.org. In short: the fonts may be used, studied, modified and
redistributed freely, they may not be sold on their own, and any redistribution keeps
this notice and the licence with it.
Icons
| Package | Used for | Licence |
|---|---|---|
@iconify-json/lucide |
Icons in .astro pages, inlined at build |
ISC |
lucide-react |
Icons in the React islands | ISC |
Copyright (c) for Lucide Contributors, and for the portions derived from Feather Icons, Copyright (c) 2013-2022 Cole Bemis. ISC permits use, copying and distribution provided this notice appears in all copies.
Scripts that run in the browser
The forms, the Scorecard and the analytics run third-party JavaScript in the browser.
It ships minified, in the files under /_astro/ and inline in each page, so the notices
are kept here rather than in those files.
| Package | Used for | Licence | Copyright notice |

lucide-react also runs in the browser and is listed under Icons above. Tailwind CSS
(MIT) is compiled into the site’s stylesheet, which carries its own licence line.
The MIT License and the Apache License 2.0 both permit use, copying, modification and
distribution, provided the copyright notice and the licence travel with the copies. The
full texts ship with each package under node_modules/<package>/LICENSE, and are published at
https://opensource.org/license/mit and https://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0.
posthog-js’s own licence file, with each MIT portion and its permission notice, is
served in full at /licenses/posthog-js.txt, because its code
reaches the browser.
Everything else
The rest of the build toolchain runs at build time and is not redistributed to a
visitor’s browser, so it is not listed here. Its licences are in node_modules and in
package-lock.json.
Site content, copy, the logo, the guide figures and the downloadable packs are our own
work and are not covered by the above. See /terms.
